About Me
Hello, I’m Nicolette Gladu-Molina. I have graduated from the University of Central Florida with a
bachelor’s
degree in
Digital Media Web Design. I’ve always been an artist ever since I could grasp a crayon and been in front
of
a computer
since the age of two. From then on, I wanted to pursue art but in an omnipresent media—thus landing on
digital media. My
focus in this degree has allowed me to hone in on my detail-oriented side. When presented with a
challenge,
I can come
up with multiple ways and ideas of accomplishing the given task, hence my crafty side.
Within my
professional
development I have grown accustomed to technological advancements and innovations. I seek to bring my
seasoned
background in the restaurant industry towards improving point of service systems, such as NCR’s Aloha
system, as well as
social media marketing through content creation. I am compassionate in regards to user experience. When
people find
trouble or faults with applications or websites, it lights a fire within me to find solutions.
Logo Creations
My passion for creating traditional
artwork has paved a path for producing
digital art. In this section I feature my
favorite logos that I've made over the
past few years (including the one below).
I've used both Adobe Photoshop and
Illustrator for these projects.
Created for my Digital Productions class. Our group was called ArtRelief, which
was a mobile application that allowed artists to curate their works on a platform
which allowed users to purchase their art with a percent of the proceeds going
back to environmental and natural disaster relief. This project was motivated by
the height of the Australian Bushfires in February 2020.
This logo was created for a mobile auto
detailing service. Client wanted a circular
logo with a cyclone symbol and a large
sponge.
This logo was created for a
startup Cannabis company in
Portland, Oregon. Client
desired to incorporate where
he grew up (Brevard County,
aka the Space Coast) with his
business, I decided to integrate
the old Nasa font "nasalization"
into the logo as well as asteroid
cannabis flowers and a flame
leaf. I also wanted to retain a
retro aesthetic with the
addition of orange to the color
pallete.
The broken heart logo was
made for a friend who
requested an emblem that
represents resilience amidst a
heartbreak. He gave me free
reigns on what design to insert
on the left half of the heart, so
I decided to bring forth his
passion for the sea and
representation of life.
